Welcome to CWPAC Director's Blog
Tuesday, July 15, 2008 - 5:02 PM

Welcome to the new and improved Concerned Women Political Action Committee (CWPAC) blog.

CWPAC’s aim is to help elect solid pro-life, pro-family conservative leaders who will not just be a vote, but a strong voice in Congress for our values.  We do that by bringing conservative donors with conservative candidates and inviting people who agree to support those candidates with their resources.

We will continue every week to update our site and bring you even more candidates that you can help elect with your contributions.

I hope today as you look around the site, you will bookmark us a favorite place on the web for you to come back to weekly.

I have had the privilege of working for Beverly LaHaye as Executive Director of the Political Action Committee she founded in 2002, since 2006.

The idea from day one has always been to find the best, most conservative candidates out there and then let our members know about them.  I am excited about the re-launch of the website because it enables us to talk to even more people looking for good solid candidates and future leaders of our country.

I hope you will tell your friends about CWALAC and encourage them to visit.  In order for your friends to be a member of CWPAC, they first must be a member of CWALAC. Make a donation to that organization and as an added benefit, they will be members of CWPAC. With membership in the PAC, you will be able to find out more information on the candidates and hot races in the country.  And my hope is that you will support these candidates with your hard earned money and help them get elected and re-elected.

Every election year it seems as if “this is the most important election” ever.  And maybe, just maybe 2008 is that election.  The stakes couldn’t be higher.  The next President of the United States could have as many as four appointments to make onto the U.S. Supreme Court.  Not only that, Republicans, who are more often conservative on the issues you and I care about more than democrats, stand to lose 20-25 seats in the house and come close to only holding 41 or 42 seats in the U.S. Senate.

So yes, the stakes are pretty high aren’t they?

So, please by all means poke around, check out our Members area  and when you are finished – on your way out – why not make a contribution on our secure site and help CWPAC continue their programs and help bring you the best conservative candidates in the most competitive races in the country.

Thanks again, and come back real soon
